The Menu
Breakfast, the burgers that made us famous, hand-dipped Blue Bell, fresh cookies, and our Original Dirty Sodas — same recipes, same cook.
A fresh-griddled patty, shredded lettuce, onion, tomato, pickle, and the works on a toasted bun. It’s the burger Neville kids have been sneaking off campus for since the ’60s — and the same cook’s still flipping it.
A real soda fountain — eight house sodas over nugget ice, from the Bayou Pepper flagship to the Daddy-O float that was first bottled right here in Monroe. 24oz $5 · 32oz $6.

Sidney David Aron founded Aron’s Pharmacy in 1942. In 1964 it moved to 1209 N 18th Street — one of the first buildings on the block — and a little grill went in at the back.
Six decades later, the Monday Lunch Bunch and the Coffee Club still hold their tables, and the burgers taste exactly the way three generations of Monroe remember them. New owners Ariana and Jay Howell are keeping every bit of that charm — just making it a little easier to get your hands on.
“One of, if not the best burger in town. 100% would recommend.”
— Josh N.
“Still the same burgers, the best in town, that Aron’s has been serving since my dad ate there in the ’60s — and still the same cook!”
— Travis S.
“A Monroe historical sight! Really good food and really good service.”
— Palmer J.
